How to make a claim

For extras services, you can make a claim online via Members Online or through the Westfund app. Alternatively, you can email your extras claim to claims@westfund.com.au by attaching your completed claim form and any relevant receipts.

For hospital claims, if you have received a bill (you won't always receive a bill), you'll need to fill in a Medicare claim form and a two-way claim form to submit your claim to Medicare first. Medicare will then process your forms and send them to Westfund to process.

Complaints info

Westfund had an excellent complaints performance in the most recent State of the Health Funds Report. Data shows Westfund has 0.9% market share and only accounted for 0.5% of complaints made to the Commonwealth Ombudsman.
