Finder's Health Insurance Awards recognise market-leading providers for hospitals and extras products across categories. Winners and highly commended providers are ranked monthly from June 2025, to May 2026, out of 10, using our proprietary Finder Score based on price and key features. We assessed more than 40 providers to determine the winners. Providers also need to have more than 0.6% market share, according to the Commonwealth Ombudsman and not be restricted funds.
