Finder's Product Awards methodology for home insurance
Finder's Home Insurance Awards recognises market-leading home insurance products, using our proprietary Finder Score ratings methodology, that compares data points for each product, across price and features, for 41 brands in Australia.
Selection criteria
The products were included in the categories if they were available across all personas quotes were collected for across NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia. We collected prices for 2 suburbs in each state. For value insurance, price accounted for 70% of the total. For comprehensive insurance, it accounted for 30%.
