How the Finder Score helps you find a better savings account

The Finder Score is a simple score out of 10. The higher a savings account's score, the better we think it is for the average customer.

We score each savings account in our database of hundreds based on a data-driven methodology with 2 main criteria: Does the account offer a high interest rate? And is it easy for savers to actually earn that rate?

already a Bendigo customer, am retired, I want to sell my hobby items and books, if I provide my bank details in the advert blog, can anyone access my a/c and withdraw?

how do I know when the buyer has deposited into my a/c

Hi Robert,

Generally, it is safe to provide your bank account number to someone to receive payments. Buyers can deposit money with it, but they won’t get much further than that without other pieces of identifying information. You can give your bank account number out however, it’s not advisable to provide it to unsolicited sites.

If you’re enrolled in Bendigo’s e-banking, you’ll be able to monitor transactions like deposits made to your account. You simply need to log in to view all activities in chronological order on the Activity list.

I hope this helps!

Thanks,

Alison

Hi Connor,

Thank you for visiting finder, we are a financial comparison website and general information service.

The Easy Money card can be linked to transaction accounts like the Everyday Account, Student Account, Easy Retirement Account or Concession Account.

Hi Alice,

Thanks for your comment.

Unfortunately, you can’t open a Bendigo Bank EasySaver Account under a company’s name. Please free to compare business savings accounts if this interests you.

I hope this answers your question.

Cheers,

Anndy
