Wanderlust With: Ashley Leonard-Jones
Wandering the world from Australia to Europe
Style and travel combine in Ashley Leonard-Jones's blog Wandering Wolf Child as she explores the world with her SLR and a bag full of the latest threads.
Spending two years in Australia has no doubt spoiled this influencer when it comes to sunshine and beaches, but now that she's back in Europe, she has more than a few quirky and cool places within reach to explore.
Q. What's the last holiday you took?
A: The last holiday I took was to Amsterdam. It had been high on my bucket list, and after returning from four years in Asia and Australia, I was so excited to go.
Q: What about the first holiday you took?
A: I grew up between Germany and England so from birth I have been travelling back and forth between the two countries. My first solo trip however was to Indonesia.
Normally I spend Christmas where I grew up, just outside of London 🇬🇧 this year will be my first Christmas with the in-laws in Stuttgart! I'm so excited, Germans celebrate on the 24th - does this mean I get two Christmases?🎄 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Where will you all be spending Christmas? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨www.wanderingwolfchild.com✨ ............................................................. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #travelgirls#wanderingwolfchild#freedom#sponsor#sponsorme#gypsy#boho#nomad#gowondergirls#london#londonbridge#toweroflondon#londonfashion#londontown#londoncity#bloggerlondon#fashionblogger#travelblogger#londonblogger#christmas
Q: What's your favourite destination in the world?
A: It would have to be Australia. I love the contrast. You can have beautiful beaches, barren deserts, snow, mountains, lush green landscapes and tropical rainforests. Not to mention cool metropolitan cities.
Q: What are the top three things you like to do there?
A: Hiring a yacht to go to the Great Barrier Reef and stunning white sand beaches in Queensland, four wheel driving through the desert and seeing the sacred Uluru (Ayers Rock) and getting up early to beat the crowds to explore Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
A beautiful waterhole created by the oldest river in the world. One of the many outback adventures I had during my year in the desert 🌵this was a really life changing time for me and I hold this experience close to my heart ❤ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Blog post online now with more pictures and why you should visit 💻 link in the bio ✌🏻⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨www.wanderingwolfchild.com✨ ............................................................. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #travelgirls#wanderingwolfchild#freedom#sponsor#sponsorme#gypsy#boho#nomad#gowondergirls#desert#alicesprings#nt#northernterritory#glenhelen#glenhelengorge
Q: What are the top three items you can’t leave home without?
Q: Lastly, if you could only pick one – beach, city or mountains which would it be?
A: At the moment I am based in a city so I would have to say beach. The beach matches my relaxed lifestyle and laid back attitude.
