Exetel provides a wide variety of broadband plans at competitive prices. However, the telco has also expanded to offer appealing SIM-only mobile plans powered by Optus 4G Plus network. They’re available both on a contract and month-to-month, packed with generous inclusions and, in some cases, also come with credit for international calls.

There are four Exetel 4G plans to choose from. The Saver plan packs 1.5GB, unlimited text and 600 minutes call value. The other three plans – Value, Extra Value, and Plus – all offer unlimited calls/texts with data inclusions from 6GB to 15GB. As a result, which plan you choose will largely depend on your data needs. Exetel also offers international credit on these three plans, from $50 to $500. If you run out of data, the telco will automatically add additional data in 1GB blocks for $10 each.

Plans are available on a month-to-month basis. However, if you opt to sign a one year contract, you get more bang for your buck. Plan prices stay the same, but you get more inclusions. On a 12-month contract, the Saver plan packs 2.5GB and unlimited calls/texts. The other three come with 10GB, 18GB, and 23GB data, respectively. International call credit doesn’t change, but contract plans bring you unlimited international texting. All in all, signing on the dotted line may not be so bad after all.

If you need even more data, Exetel sells two 3G plans on a month-to-month basis. Both come with unlimited calls/texts. The Max 3G plan offers 30GB, while the Ultra 3G plan packs a massive 90GB data allowance – great if you need heaps of data and don’t mind slower speeds.
