Our verdict
Pay no account keeping fees, no overseas ATM fees and no foreign transaction fees plus see your other bank accounts, super and investments all within your ubank app.
The first thing to note is that this transaction account comes with a linked Save Account . You’ll earn bonus interest rate on your Save balance when you grow your balance by the end of the month.
The Spend account is great for everyday use in Australia, and as a fee-free travel money option when you’re overseas. It’s one of only a handful of accounts that charges no account keeping fees, no overseas ATM withdrawal fees and no international transaction fees.
You can link the Visa Debit Card to Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay to pay with your phone instead of your card. The ubank mobile app allows you to link your other bank accounts, super fund and investment accounts.

"If you open a ubank savings account, you will also get access to the Spend Account. It's a great transaction account . There are no fees if you withdraw money when overseas and from time to time it rewards you for making purchases with the card. I tend to use this account sparingly as I mainly have the account for ubank's high savings rate, but this linked spending account is a good one."

Hello, I am Australian resident but I live in Germany at the present time, hence non resident address. I have a Commonwealth bank transactional account in Australian as I travel back and forth a deal. Can I open account?
