Revolut Standard Account

The Revolut standard account allows you to spend your money all around the world without paying the exchange or ATM fees that most banks charge.

You can also add a Revolut <18 account for 1 child.

ATM withdrawal fees

There are no ATM withdrawal fees on the first $350 worth of withdrawals per month. After that there's a 2% charge per withdrawal with a minimum charge of $1.50.

ATM providers may also charge their on fee.

Currency exchange

Transfer up to $2,000 a month between 30+ currencies with no exchange fees. Note that exchange fees may apply between Friday 5pm (New York time) and Sunday 6pm (New York time).

Stock and crypto trading

You can buy and sell 100+ cryptocurrencies and invest in over 2,000 stocks.

What are Revolut's features and benefits?

The following features are on offer from Revolut:

Simple spending while overseas. Revolut allows you to spend and transfer money around the world without charging you exchange fees.
Buy, hold and exchange multiple currencies. You can hold and exchange 30+ fiat currencies in your Revolut account.
Set up recurring payments. If you have regular payments such as rent, utility bills, credit card bills or anything that isn't automatically direct debited from your account, you can set up recurring payments in Revolut so you don't forget to pay.
Send and request money within the app. Revolut allows you to send money as well as request it from your friends directly within your revolut app. You can also attach notes, images and gifs when you ask to get paid or make a payment.
User-friendly app. The app is intuitive and you can manage all of your card and account needs in it. It will automatically categorise your spending, send you instant payment notifications and give you a detailed view of your transactions.
Security. You can "freeze" and "unfreeze" your card instantly in your Revolut app if it is lost or stolen. You're also able to turn on location-based security, so your card's payments will be blocked if your card is used in a different location to where you are.

I have accounts with both Monzo and Revolut. I gather Monzo have a transfer limit of £10,000 – However, yesterday at 2.15pm they approved a limit increase of £17,000 which I tried to send to Revolut bank. To date 20hrs later, this has not been transferred and is still held by their fraud team who suspect a scam!! How long can this situation remain unsolved? I would be interested in your comments / help?

Banks have increased their security around larger transfers, which is effective in combatting scams, but frustrating for those like you caught up in the mix! Yes, Revolut cards are Visa or MasterCard, so they will be accepted anywhere that a Visa or MasterCard are accepted in Fiji.

Revolut’s ATM withdrawals per 24 hours are limited to £3,000 or currency equivalent.

You can withdraw up to A$350, A$700, and A$1400 at no cost on the Standard, Premium and Metal plans respectively each month. A 2% fair usage fee will be applied thereafter.
