What are the feature and benefits of the AMP Bank Professional Package Fixed Home Loan?

  • Loan amount. This loan has a minimum loan amount of $100,000 and a maximum loan amount of $2,000,000. The loan allows you to borrow up to 80% of the value of the property you're buying. Borrowing above 80% will incur a lenders mortgage insurance premium and a 0.10% pa premium on the interest rate.
  • Repayment frequency. You can make your repayments weekly, fortnightly or monthly to suit your pay cycle. The AMP Bank Professional Package Fixed Home Loan allows you to make up to $10,000 in additional repayments per year without penalty.
  • Waived fees. AMP Bank is currently waiving the establishment and settlement fees for this loan.
  • Split facility. The AMP Bank Professional Package Fixed Home Loan allows you to split your loan account up to 10 times to take advantage of both variable and fixed rate products.

  • Settlement fee: $0. This one-time fee covers the cost of funding your home loan.
  • Annual package fee: $0 during fixed rate period. $349 for variable loans. This annual fee gives you access to this home loan's package benefits.
  • Discharge fee: $390. This fee is charged when you close your home loan account, either by repaying your loan or refinancing.
  • Valuation fee: You only pay a valuation fee if the cost of valuing the property exceeds $550.
