Looking for a one-stop shop for international TV? In 2015, Flip TV opened their doors to bring in-demand international TV stations to Australia. Now the service offers more than 100 international TV channels along with more than 30 free-to-air stations, providing Aussies with a smorgasbord of entertainment from countries like Poland, Japan, Bosnia and South America.

Unlike some pay TV services, Flip TV doesn't require that you buy a bunch of packages or channels that are irrelevant. You can simply pick the bundle that you want, or you can mix-and-match them to create a personalised international TV service. To top things off, the service has no lock-in contract options so if you’re dissatisfied with the service, you can cancel without penalty.

What does Flip TV have to offer?

Flip TV offers 35 free-to-air channels on top of its 100+ international channels. It also lets you pause and rewind content up to 24 hours behind, re-watch content that has played in the last 24 hours on certain channels and run applications from the system so you can treat the Flip TV set-top box like a media centre. To top it off, the TV service has no lock-in contracts, so you're free to cancel at any time without paying any exit fees.

The Flip TV channel packs cover the following countries:

  • Bosnia
  • Croatia
  • Macedonia
  • Malta
  • Serbia
  • Vietnam
  • Poland
  • Spain
  • Chile
  • Portugal
  • Japan
  • South America

Channels from outside regions appear within these bundles, with the Argentinian Telefe Internacional appearing in the Spanish bundle, for example.

How much does Flip TV cost?

Flip TV's channel packs start from $12.95 a month and can be bundled together a la carte. You also need to purchase the Flip TV set-top box for $129, with an extra $20 for delivery.

Flip TV's NBN Plans

Flip also provides broadband services via the NBN. While it doesn't offer any specific NBN and TV packages, it does bundle in access to over 15 international channels with all its NBN plans, free of charge. You don't need to purchase the Flip TV set-top box to watch these, either, as they are all accessible through the Flip mobile app on Android and iOS.
