What you need to know about SkyMesh's NBN plans

SkyMesh focuses solely on fixed wireless and satellite NBN services. It also offers a Voice over IP (VoIP) phone service for inclusion with its NBN plans. And since having to sign up for 12 or 24 months can be a deal breaker for a lot of people, all SkyMesh's plans are available on a no-lock-in, month-to-month basis.

What are the different SkyMesh NBN plans?

Fixed wireless NBN plans

SkyMesh offers fixed wireless plans on 30-day, no-lock-in contracts. Each comes with a Standard Plus NBN connection and no set-up or activation fees.

The three plans currently on offer are as follows:

  • 100GB, which includes 100GB of data for $54.95 a month
  • 600GB, which includes 600GB of data for $64.95 a month
  • Limitless, which includes unlimited data for a month

You don't need to be concerned about excess data charges since exceeding your monthly data cap sees your Internet speed slow to 128kbps for the rest of the current billing cycle.

Satellite NBN plans

Delivered via NBN's Sky Muster satellites, SkyMesh's satellite plans are available with either a Basic or Standard NBN connection. Again, these plans divide their data caps into peak and off-peak amounts, with special OWL plans allocating almost all their data to the off-peak period. For those who prefer the midnight hours, these OWL plans actually offer quite impressive value for money.

    My speed test is 24 down and 0.6 up
    I live in Remote Australia and have a satellite connection
    Can I improve my speed

      Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry to hear your speed test is not what you expect it to be. Since you are on a satellite connection, your speed may be slower compared to other types of connection. Contact your provider to know how you can improve your connection in your area.

    How to activate created by SkyMesh VoIP NBN FTTH account?

      Hi Jan,

      Thanks for your question. If you signed up for a VoIP service along with your SkyMesh NBN plan, it should already be activated. You will simply need to connect the Analogue Telephone Adapter that SkyMesh should have provided you with to your router. A visual guide of this process is available here.

      If your current SkyMesh plan does not already have a VoIP service included, you’ll need to contact SkyMesh and have it added to your plan.
