Optus has a whole suite of iPhones for your perusal, making it easier for you to own a new phone for less upfront.

Remember: The cost of the iPhone doesn't change whether you buy from Optus or outright at the Apple store.

Compare Optus iPhone 11 plans

If you're not ready to splurge on the latest iPhone, then its predecessor, the iPhone 11 that came towards the tail end of 2020, still remains a strong contender.

You'll get great camera action, fast performance and excellent battery life at a more affordable price.

Optus doesn't sell the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max anymore, but you can still get the base iPhone 11 from it.

Compare Optus iPhone SE plans

Apple's iPhone SE was released in April 2020 and is largely seen as a budget option if you're in the market for a new iPhone.

However, don't let the "budget" label fool you. The iPhone SE may be compact but it packs a punch in the performance arena thanks to Apple's most powerful chip.

Compare Optus iPhone X plans

The iPhone X, which came out in late 2017, was the first signal from Apple in recent years that it would make substantial changes to its smartphone offerings – thanks to a combination of new design and a premium asking price.

It's no longer available for purchase via Optus and was discontinued in September 2018 following the announcement of the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR.

If you're still keen, you can order a refurbished iPhone X from websites such as catch.com.au, eBay and mydeal.com.au.

Compare Optus iPhone XR plans

The iPhone XR came into the market on 12 September 2018 as a lower-cost option from Apple. It has impressive battery life and comes with the A12 Bionic processor. It also comes in a wide range of colours.

It's not available through Optus anymore, but you can buy the device from Telstra if you pair it with one of its mobile plans.

Compare Optus iPhone XS plans

The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max devices, which launched in Australia in September 2018, were discontinued a year later when Apple introduced the new iPhone 11 series.

They're no longer available through Optus either, but you can still get an iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max from Telstra if you pair it with one of its mobile plans.

Compare Optus iPhone 8 plans

The iPhone 8 was the smallest member of the iPhone line, which launched back in 2017. And while it could have easily been overlooked at the time, it created a space for more hand- and pocket-friendly devices built with ample power.

Optus doesn't carry the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8+ anymore, but if you're still interested, numobile and TeleChoice both offer refurbished iPhone 8 and 8+ phones on a plan.

Compare Optus iPhone 7 plans

When the iPhone 7 launched back in 2016, it was seen to be an impressive performer, barring its battery life struggles.

Fast forward to 2021 and you won't find the phone through Optus anymore. If you're still looking for a basic iPhone that won't cost you too much, TeleChoice offers refurbished iPhone 7s on a plan.

Compare Optus iPhone 6S plans

If you're after an Apple phone but don't want to pay a hefty price tag, then the iPhone 6S, released in late 2015, remains a viable option.

Unfortunately, being over 5 years old now, the iPhone 6S is no longer available through Optus or any other mobile provider. If you're still keen, you'll need to look for a refurbished model online.
