Samsung phone plans
Interested in a new Samsung Galaxy phone as an outright purchase or on contract? Here is what you need to know.
I am interested in purchasing the Lycamobile Large Plan SIM ($175 for 600GB) during the current promotion. I read in the Critical Information Summary that the SIM must be activated within 30 days of purchase (or by the promotional deadline).
Do you know If I purchase the SIM before the promotion ends, but only activate it after the promotion period has finished (still within 30 days of purchase), will I still receive the promotional benefits? For example, If I purchase the SIM on the last day of the promotion, the SIM card will definitely not arrive at my address before the promotion period end.
Hi Aaron, yes, the 30-day period should still be valid as long as you’ve purchased it. It’s separate to the promotion’s expiry. Hope this helps :)

We require a 50gb data sim on 365 payment plan
Hi Brett,
If you mean 50GB per month, go with Lyca’s Large Long-Term Expiry plan – it comes with 600GB over 365 days, which is exactly 50GB a month.
Normally costing $360, the plan is currently discounted to just $180. It comes with unlimited national talk & text, unlimited calls to 35 countries and data rollover of up to 500GB. (This means any leftover data is added to next month’s cap.)
If you mean 50GB over 365 days (i.e. – around 4GB per month), you aren’t going to find a long expiry plan that precisely matches your needs. The smallest data cap for these plans is usually 120GB. Prices start at around $110.

what is the difference between Vodafone 365 plan $45 & $55 plan
Hi Imad, a 365-day plan means you pay the full amount upfront and don’t have to think about your mobile plan for a whole year. It often ends up cheaper than paying month to month, as long as you’re happy with Vodafone’s coverage and what’s included.
The $45 and $55 plans run on a 28-day expiry, so you’re essentially paying monthly and can cancel anytime. The main difference is the amount of data you get. For most everyday users, the $45 plan should be enough. But if you use a lot of data, the $55 might suit you better. Hope this helps!
