Our verdict

Pros

  • Huddle's Black Comprehensive policy is one of the strongest on the market.
  • Hate waiting on hold to speak to someone? Huddle lets you book a time to chat.
  • Buy, claim, and manage your policy entirely online if you prefer.

Cons

  • Cost research shows Huddle's Comprehensive policy is $400 higher than average.
  • If you want cover for motor burnout, you'll have to buy Huddle's most expensive policy.
  • Huddle's cooling-off period is shorter than most, with only 14 days to cancel if you change your mind.

Features

Huddle's Comprehensive policy offers a good level of cover, with one of the highest benefits available in the market for environmental benefits ($5,000), guest contents (also $5,000), and lock replacement ($1,500.)

However, unlike most other home insurance brands, if you want cover for motor burnout, you'll have to upgrade to Huddle's Black Comprehensive policy.
