Get up to 13 points per $1 spent.

So Qantas Frequent Flyer continues to lean heavily on bonus points deals through the Qantas Store as it waits for flying to return to some kind of post-pandemic normal.

Last month, it had its Winter Warmers, with extra bonus points across 100 of its retail partners. Now there's a similar deal for August, the "Winter Beauty Edit".

As the name suggests, the bonus points this time around are for beauty retailers, covering cosmetics, fragrances and beauty tech. While the list of retailers is smaller (27 are taking part), the offers are more generous.

Garbo & Kelly is offering 13 Qantas Points per $1 spent, way up on its normal rate of 4 Qantas Points per $1 spent. Ella Bache and Jurlique are both offering 8 points, up from 5 and 6 respectively.

I've listed the full set of deals in the table below. The extra points apply until 30 August 2020. I've also noted the regular points per $1 each brand offers and what percentage increase the new deal represents. Remember the percentage shouldn't be your deciding factor: the number of points you're getting for your spend is what counts.

I say it every time because it matters: Don't shop purely for the points. Take advantage of bonus points to score extra on stuff you need anyway.
