The best iPhone 14 deals from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone
Don't throw your old phone in a drawer, it could help you save big on your new device.
The iPhone 14 range is now available. If you already own an iPhone 12 or 13 model that's still ticking along fine, you might be wondering if it's worth upgrading.
Here's what the Big Three telcos, Telstra, Vodafone and Optus, have on offer to help you make your decision easier.
Telstra iPhone 14 trade-in offers
Telstra's offering up to $1,000 of trade-in credit towards your new iPhone 14 plan.
This includes $150 worth of bonus credit on top of the normal trade-in value from the telco.
The exact amount of the trade-in credit you'll receive will depend on the condition of your handset and its storage capacity. The credit will be applied from your second bill onwards.
The offer ends on 15 October 2022.

Vodafone iPhone 14 trade-in offers
Vodafone is also offering a $150 bonus credit on top of any trade-in value towards a new iPhone 14.
On top of that, it's also slashing prices on 2 of its mobile plans and boosting the included data to give you even more value for money.
Available from now until the offer is withdrawn, you get the following:
- Vodafone's $55 Super Plan with 200GB Max Speed Data, now $50 per month with 250GB
- Vodafone's $65 Super+ Plan with 300GB Max Speed Data, now $55 per month with 500GB
- Vodafone's $85 Ultra+ Plan with unlimited Max Speed Data, now $60 per month plus 30GB of hotspot data.
The bonus trade-in credit offer is available until 9 October 2022 and you will need to hand in your device by 23 October at the latest.

Optus iPhone 14 trade-in offers
Unlike the others, Optus isn't offering any bonus trade-in credit.
Instead, you get a whole lot of value with Optus's Promo Plan from $69 per month for 12 months with 500GB. The price changes to $89 per month after the 12 months are up.
It also includes Optus Upgrade & Protect (normally $15 a month). In total, you're looking at $540 of bonus value and more data than you'll find on any other Optus plan.
- Good to know: Upgrade & Protect means you can get your new phone and then upgrade early in the last 12 months of your plan at no extra charge.
The Promo Plan is available until 31 October 2022.
