NBN prices are increasing by as much as $20 a month, depending on the provider and speeds.

Internet providers are raising prices because wholesale costs from NBN Co are changing from 1 July 2025.

Providers cop the wholesale costs first, and it's up to them if they want to pass the extra cost on to customers.

Unfortunately, we've already seen 17 providers either raise their prices this year in anticipation of the 1 July changes or announce upcoming increases. There are some price decreases, but only on a handful of plans and mostly on the fastest speed tiers.

Hop, skip or jump to any of the providers listed to see what changes they're making to their fixed-line NBN plans.

Good to know: NBN 50 plans are the most popular choice for Aussies, ideal for a typical household of 2-3 people, followed closely by NBN 100 plans, which are great for families or heavy internet users.
