Formed in 1972, SWSbank (South West Slopes Credit Union Ltd) was founded by employees from various councils in the South West Slopes region of NSW.
Today SWSbank has over 15,000 members, with branches in Young, Temora, West Wyalong and Cootamundra.
SWSbank also offers insurance, saving and deposit accounts, home loans, personal loans, financial education services and green loans for energy efficient products.

What do I need to know about SWSbank’s car loans?

Fees: None of the bank’s car loans have application, account or establishment fees.
Borrowing amounts: You can borrow up to $200,000 for all of its car loans.
Redraw facility: Its loans offer a free redraw facility.
Car age: SWS lends for cars less than 3 years old.
Loan term: Repay over 5 or 7 years, with a lower interest rate for the 5 year term.
Additional repayments: You can make extra repayments towards your loan at no extra cost.
Internet banking: Keep on top of your remaining loan balance through internet banking.

How do I apply for a SWS car loan?

You can apply for a car loan online or in a local branch. To be eligible you will need to:

Be over 18 years old.
Be living in Australia.
Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Become a member of SWSbank.

During the application process you will need to provide details of your income and any other debts.
