Hi
I have recently converted my flybuys points to flybuys dollars of 20$ to be used at Target. I am trying to use this to pay online at target online shop (because the item I want is not available in the store close to my house).
However, when I typed in the flybuys member number, the $20 does not appear for me to redeem (although it has shown in my flybuys account that the $20 has been credited in my card). Does that mean I can ony redeem the flybuys dollar in store, but not online shopping?.
Thanks for your assistance.
Hi NYP,
Thanks for your question.
Yes, unfortunately you can only redeem your flybuys rewards when shopping in store, but not online.
You’ll need to present your flybuys card when you’re next in-store and let the team member at the checkout know you’d like to pay with flybuys Dollars. You can then enter the amount of flybuys Dollars you’d like to spend, swipe your card and enter your PIN.
I hope this has helped.
Cheers,
Sally
I have just recently flown on Singapore and Malaysian airlines, can I redeem any points? I have kept boarding passes.
Hi Lesley,
Thanks for your question.
Before you can redeem your flybuys points, please make sure that the points you earned were already credited to your account. It can take up to four weeks before points are processed and credited to your account.
Once your flybuys points have already been credited, you can redeem your points for a reward in two ways:
1. Log into your ‘my flybuys’ profile and head to the rewards section of the site and follow the steps.
OR
2. Call the flybuys service center on 13 11 16.
I hope this has helped.
Cheers,
May
I forgot to scan my flybuys card on my shop at coles I have the receipt how can I get the points?
Hi Hayley,
Thanks for your comment.
If you’ve forgotten to scan your Flybuys card when shopping at Coles or any eligible store, you can still claim your points by calling Flybuys on 13 11 16. Be sure to have your receipts ready.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Anndy
My mum recently passed away. Can my dad use the points on Mum’s card?
Hi Helen,
Thanks for your question and we’re sorry to hear about your sad news.
At the moment, you can only redeem someone’s flybuys points if they’re a supplementary cardholder linked to the account. So, if your Mum’s account was linked to your Dad’s flybuys account, he should be able to use the points.
If not, your dad might need to contact flybuys directly on 131 116 to discuss his options.
Cheers,
Sally
Hi, if for eg there is only 1600 frequent flyer points left on a frequent flyer account and the account won’t be used again as the partner has now joined frequent flyer how can the 1600 points be transferred to the new account.
Hi Jenny,
Thanks for your question.
Unfortunately, you can’t transfer your flybuys points to another flybuys member.
Instead, you’ll need to redeem them for rewards to ensure you don’t waste them before you close the account.
I’m sorry we couldn’t be of more assistance.
Cheers,
Sally
