Gateway Bank Personal Loans
Choose between a fixed or variable rate loan. Borrowing amounts are limited, and rates and terms depend on the type of rate chosen.
Gateway Bank is a member-owned financial institution. They offer two types of unsecured personal loans, a fixed and variable rate loan. The credit limit for both loans is capped at $30,000, with a minimum loan amount of $3,000. The interest rate for its variable loan is slightly lower than the fixed loan, starting from 11.59% p.a., while for fixed it is 12.34% p.a. The maximum term for the variable rate loan is 7 years, while the fixed rate loan has a maximum term of 5 years. While there is no ongoing account keeping fee, an establishment fee of $149 applies.

Ask a Question
I am self employed but don’t have my financials completed as yet but my accountant has interim figures and has provided a letter stating my income. Is this sufficient proof of income for a PL?
Hi Mark,
Thanks for your question.
This may not be enough documentation; most lenders need a copy of your tax returns as well. If you have any questions about this, please speak directly to Gateway Credit Union.
All the best,
Shirley
