Woolworths' Everyday Rewards is one of Australia's most popular loyalty programs, with more than 14 million members. It's free to join and get rewarded when you shop at Woolworths supermarkets, BWS, Big W and participating Ampol, EG Australia and Caltex Woolworths fuel outlets. You'll also earn points with other select partners.
Collect enough points and you can start enjoying benefits, including:
- Discounts at the checkout. Save $10 off an eligible shop at Woolworths or BWS when your balance reaches 2,000 points.
- Save for Christmas. Don't want $10 off every time you reach that 2,000-point milestone? You can choose to save your points to spend them all at once later down the track when you know you'll want to save money.
- Qantas Points. Convert your Everyday Rewards to Qantas Points, with 2,000 Everyday Rewards points equalling 1,000 Qantas Points. Every 2,000 Everyday Rewards points you earn will be automatically converted to Qantas Points and should appear in your frequent flyer account within 24 hours.
How do you become an Everyday Rewards member?
Becoming an Everyday Rewards member is free and easy to do online or in participating stores. There's no age limit, though minors are excluded from liquor sales.

How you can earn Everyday Rewards points
Earn points on your shopping
Earn 1 Everyday Rewards point for every $1 you spend at Woolworths supermarkets, BWS, Big W or at participating Ampol, EG Australia and Caltex Woolworths fuel outlets. There are 3 ways to shop:
- Shopping with your card. Swipe your Everyday Rewards membership card at the register before you pay. The cashier will usually prompt you but note that if you forget to swipe your card at the checkout, you won't be able to earn rewards for that purchase.
- Shopping with your phone. You can also earn points by scanning a digital version of your membership card via the Woolworths app. You'll just need to download the app to your smartphone or device and add your membership card information under the "More" section. Once these details are saved, you just need to click "show barcode" when holding your phone up to the register. You can also add your Everyday Rewards card to your Apple wallet or Google Pay wallet.
- Shopping online. If you buy your groceries through Woolworths Online, you'll be asked to fill in your Everyday Rewards details as part of the payment process.
Everyday Extra from Everyday Rewards
Everyday Extra is a paid extension of the Everyday Rewards program, which was launched in mid-2022 but is now available for all members. It costs $7 a month or $59 per year, with benefits including:
- 3 times the normal points at Woolworths and Big W.
- 10% off 1 shop a month at both Woolworths and Big W (capped at $50 savings per shop).
- Monthly subscriber-only offers, such as free products and points boosters.
There is also a free 30-day trial for new members. Sign up here.
Earn points on meal delivery kits
Both Marley Spoon and Dinnerly offer Everyday Rewards points for their meal delivery kits. Just add your Everyday Rewards details to your account with either service and you'll earn 1 Everyday Rewards point for every $1 spent on meal kit orders.
Earn points on utilities and health insurance
Both Origin Energy and Bupa have partnered with Everyday Rewards to offer you the following ways to earn points:
- Origin Energy. Sign up for an Origin Everyday Rewards Energy Plan and you'll earn at least 5,000 points as a new customer, plus 1 point per $1 on your energy bill. These plans are available for residential properties, with options for electricity, natural gas or a combined plan. A combined electricity and gas plan will net you 10,000 points equivalent to $50 off at Woolworths.
- Bupa. Join Bupa health insurance and add your Everyday Rewards account number (and/or Woolies21 promo code) during sign-up to earn bonus Everyday Rewards points. You can earn up to 130,000 points for couples/family insurance or up to 80,000 points for singles insurance.
You'll also earn 3x the points on fresh fruit and veggies as well as on Macro Wholefoods Market products at Woolworths (for 60 days).
Bonus points and special offers
Everyday Rewards has bonus point offers and other promotions at different times through the year. Current offers are usually shared by email or through the Woolworths app. As well as personalised offers, you’ll also receive member-only deals and exclusive offers in-store, online and via email.
You can also check your current offers, view your point balance and update your reward preferences at selected Woolworths supermarkets that have a Rewards Hub. Simply scan your membership card at the terminal to access these services.
"Make sure you check the Woolworths app every Wednesday - that's when the weekly bonus points specials are issued. Activating these can make a big difference to your total."

How much are Everyday Rewards points worth?
Unlike other programs like Flybuys, determining how much Everyday Rewards points are worth is pretty straightforward because there are fewer rewards to choose from.
If you're rewarded with $10 off your shop for every 2,000 points earned, each Everyday Rewards point is worth 0.5 cents.
If you choose Qantas Points, then 2,000 Everyday Rewards points are equal to 1,000 Qantas Points. That's at a rate of 0.5 Qantas Points per $1 spent.
Converting your points to Qantas Points doesn't have a fixed dollar value but, considering the cost of flights, it is often the best way to get the most value out of your points in the long run.

How many Everyday Rewards points do I need for a free flight?
We know a Qantas Point is worth 0.5 Everyday Rewards points. Let's see how far those points can take you.
A Qantas Classic Flight Rewards starts from 8,000 points (or 6,400 if you want to redeem a Jetstar flight) for up to 600 miles.
That means for 16,000 Everyday Rewards points, you could take a free flight.

How to earn Qantas Points with Everyday Rewards
But what's the catch?
There are 2 common mistakes Everyday Rewards members make when it comes to the program.
- Forgetting to swipe your Everyday Rewards card at the checkout. If you forget to swipe your card at the checkout, you won't be able to collect points on your purchase. We recommend you add your card to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account so it's always on your phone. You can also download the Everyday Rewards app. See below how to recover missing points.
- Trying to earn points on ineligible purchases. Not all purchases are eligible to earn points. Eligible purchases include most everyday items you'll buy at Woolworths or another partner. Purchases that are not eligible to earn points include smoking products, gift cards, mobile recharge, Woolworths Mobile, travel cards and tickets, delivery charges, Internet cafes, Woolworths flowers, Carpet Care, lottery products and purchases made using AmpolCard.

i have an old everyday rewards card with about 35 dollars on it how do i claim this or have i lost this as the new card is now in operation
Hi Mary Tanner,
Thanks for your inquiry.
There will be no changes to your Qantas Points. All points earned through your Everyday Rewards will automatically be transferred to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account at the end of each week.
Once transferred, you can still continue to access and redeem them via Qantas and affiliated partners.
I hope this has helped.
Cheers,
Ysa
