How much does the iPhone SE 3rd Generation cost?
Before we get into the pricing, here's a bit of context.
Apple discontinued the 2022 iPhone SE (3rd Gen) after confirming the SE series will end with the launch of the iPhone 16e on 20 February 2025.
Only the 64GB and 128GB models are available from Telstra on a plan for $599 or $679 respectively.
Optus has the 128GB storage variant in stock for around $799.
Telstra iPhone SE 3rd Gen plans
You can sign up to a 12-, 24- or 36-month phone repayment plan or, if you are an existing Telstra customer, you can buy the iPhone SE outright.
Signing up to a Telstra phone plan will give you access to:

- No excess data charges. If you run out of data, your download speeds will slow to 1.5Mbps until the next billing cycle
- 30 minutes of calls to standing international numbers

Optus iPhone SE 3rd Gen plans
You can pay off the cost of the iPhone SE 128GB model with Optus over 12-, 24- or 36 months. There's no option to buy it outright, even if you are an existing Optus customer.
Signing up with Optus means you get access to:
- The second largest 4G and 5G networks in Australia
- No excess data charges. Your download speeds will simply slow to 1.5Mbps if you run out of data
- Up to 10% savings when you bundle three or more eligible subscriptions through Optus SubHub
- Unlimited international calls and texts to 35 selected destinations on the Medium Choice Plus Plan and above
- $5 for 5GB daily roaming across 110 Zone 1 destinations and selected airlines
