Do you offer mortgages in Australian for buying UK property?
Cheers
Sean
Hello Sean,
thanks for the question.
Aussie and most loan providers in Australia will no allow you to get a loan secured on an overseas property. It may be a good idea to contact them directly to find out more, or think about using a different kind of loan, or seek funding from an overseas lender.
Cheers,
Marc.

What options (if any) would we have to borrow with a $200k deposit but no income on paper?
We are looking at purchasing another investment property, we own two homes and have no debt. Is it possible to get a low interest loan with small deposit without mortgaging our present homes?
Hello Steve,
thanks for the question.
This is generally possible, although the final say regarding this will depend on the lender you choose to go with. You may wish to contact Aussie directly regarding this, as they’ll be able to discuss your options with you.
I hope this helps,
Marc.
Hi Kylie,
Thanks for your comment.
You may want to consider to compare low doc home loans that have little evidence of income.
Hope this helps,
Shirley
I have home loan with interest only option for 5 years. can I still have interest only option by switching bank
Hi Alan,
Thanks for your comment.
Yes, you can refinance your home loan to another bank with an interest-only home loan option.
I also recommend getting in touch with a licensed mortgage broker. A broker can help you understand your financial position and they can leverage their panel of networks to find a lender that is more inclined to review your application.
Hope this helps,
Shirley
Hi,
Several banks offer brokers a bonus structure based on the volume of business the broker offers the bank. This ‘volume bonus’ can be a significant amount (20-25% of the commission)
How can you convince me that Aussie Mortgage Brokers’ decisions about which loan to chose for their clients are not being influenced by the Volume bonus commission paid to the broker by the biggest banks that not necessary offer the best deal?
Chris
Hello Ozman,
Thanks for the question and information.
You are right to want to get the best deal on your mortgage. While we don’t work directly with Aussie Mortgage Brokers, nor do we know how volume bonus commission affects how they find loans for their clients, it would be wise to do your own research about what products are out there before seeking a broker. You may also compare mortgage brokers we have reviewed for your reference.
You may also find a comparison of home loans that you may be able to use to save money.
Before applying, please ensure that you meet all the eligibility criteria and read through the details of the needed requirements as well as the relevant Product Disclosure Statements/Terms and Conditions when comparing your options before making a decision on whether it is right for you.
I hope this helps,
Marc
