Move quickly. You could save hundreds on your health insurance.

Australians have just a couple of weeks left to take advantage of EOFY deals, which could see them save big bucks on their health insurance.

From free coverage for a few weeks to gift cards worth hundreds of dollars, health funds are offering a range of bumped-up benefits in an attempt to win over would-be customers.

The extra effort comes as June is typically a popular month to shop for health insurance. In fact, in June 2019, Google recorded an increase of approximately 20% in the number of people searching for health insurance in Australia, compared to May.

The seasonal spike in interest is partly due to the Lifetime Health Cover loading deadline, which falls on 1 July for most Aussies, as well as the Medicare levy surcharge, which is often front of mind for high-earners at tax time.

Whatever your reasons for considering health insurance, you shouldn't commit to a fund before looking at the promotions. To help, we've compiled 18 current deals, so you can compare what's on offer, without scouring the internet for hours.
