About Finder's Travel Insurance Awards methodology

We analysed nearly 30 providers to determine the best products for domestic and international travellers. We assessed single trip products for multiple features, including price. To be eligible for the awards, providers must provide quotes for our personas that were used to determine the average price per provider for domestic and international policies. We collected quotes for 20 year old, 40 year old and 60 year old single travellers, averaging the quotes to determine the price score per product.
