Im currently looking for a nbn plan for my sister she’s on a dsp and just needs something that will help with her smart TV
Thanks in advance
Hi Sheryl, Based on what you’ve mentioned, an NBN 25 plan might be enough for her. You can check out plans here: https://www.finder.com.au/broadband-plans/nbn/compare-nbn-25-plans. Hope this helps!
Cheap internet about 15gig
Hi Annie, most NBN plans come with unlimited data. If you want a cheap option with limited data, it might be worth considering a mobile broadband plan instead. You check out plans in our guide here: https://www.finder.com.au/broadband-plans/mobile-broadband. Hope this helps!
Not sure what modem is suitable. We are a retired couple and not sure.
Hi Kevin. As empty nesters, I’m going to assume you won’t be playing many online video games or connecting loads of devices at the same time. If that’s the case, pretty much any modem will get the job done. Many internet providers offer a free modem/router when you sign up – you can check out a list of the best NBN plans for seniors here. Good luck!
best price money wise nbn internet for playing games
Hi Kyle, you can check out our top picks for this month here: https://www.finder.com.au/broadband-plans/nbn/best-nbn-plans. An NBN 100 plan or faster should be good if you have other people living with you. If you can tell me what type of NBN connection you have I can help you out a bit more (you can check here: https://www.nbnco.com.au/connect-home-or-business/check-your-address). Hope this helps!
I’ve been paying nbn broadband provider monthly over 5 years now but the account is under my son’s name. He has moved out and I want to change provider/plan due to speed issue. Seems like my son is always busy and couldn’t help me. Can I cancel his account myself and move on to a new plan?
Thank you for your help.
Lyn.
Hi Lyn, I understand this can be a difficult situation. Unfortunately, only the account holder has the authority to cancel or make significant changes to an NBN account. This means that, as the account is under your son’s name, you’ll need him to cancel the service so you can switch to a different provider. I hope your situation gets resolved soon. Best, Mariam
