Earn up to 25% more Qantas Points when you transfer points from your credit cards rewards program to your Frequent Flyer account this month.

Qantas is offering rewards credit card holders a chance to bolster their frequent flyer accounts this month. When you transfer points from your credit card rewards program to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account up until 31 August, you could receive up to 25% bonus Qantas Points. The more points you have to transfer, the more bonus points you'll receive.

If you're transferring a million or more points, you'll receive the full 25% bonus Qantas Points offer. Otherwise, if you have 50,000 points, you can take advantage of a 20% bonus or 15% extra Qantas Points if you make a transfer over 100,000. Transfers up to 100,000 will receive a smaller 10% bonus Qantas Points.

While there are some restrictions that limit the potential value of this offer, it's still an easy way for you to pick up some extra points if you were looking to turn your credit card points into Qantas rewards.

Targeting this bonus at existing Qantas members, many Qantas Frequent Flyers should have received emails regarding this offer over the last day.

Unfortunately, while many Qantas Frequent Flyer credit cards automatically transfer your points to your Qantas rewards account, there aren't too many that allow you to earn rewards indirectly with a bank rewards program which you can then transfer to Qantas (as well as other partner airlines). Some examples on the Australian market include the Westpac Business Platinum credit card, the Westpac Business Gold credit card and the American Express Platinum Charge card.
