More than 13 million new customers can now access Dash, with limited-time bonus Dash when buying on Payza.

Dash has become the second cryptocurrency to be integrated on Payza after bitcoin and can now reach the app's more than 13 million users in 190 countries.

Users can now spend Dash at more than 100,000 retailers and exchange it for bitcoin or 20 different fiat currencies.

"Payza is an exciting partnership for Dash because our respective missions are so well aligned. Payza is supporting underbanked populations in nearly 200 countries, and the Dash network's low cost instant transactions are ideal attributes for meeting these customers' needs. Payza is also well regarded in the industry with literally millions of users and they've thus far refrained from integrating other coins across their platform. We are truly humbled to be selected as the first digital currency to integrate beyond Bitcoin, and we look forward to supporting Payza's growth going forward," said Dash CEO Ryan Taylor.

For a limited time, Payza users can also get bonus coin for buying Dash through the app.

  • 10% bonus for buying up to 1 Dash.
  • 5% bonus for each Dash purchased after that, up to 5 Dash purchased.

“There are several reasons that we chose Dash to be the second cryptocurrency integrated into our platform, after Bitcoin," said Payza CEO Firoz Patel. "Dash boasts low network fees and fast transactions, two features that users look for in a cryptocurrency. Dash also has a vibrant and active community, especially in the developing world, which appeals to us as a company that also focuses on empowering underbanked populations. Finally, Dash is user-friendly and has a roadmap in place to further improve usability."

The deal is made possible through integration with BlockCypher, a third-party provider that specialises in blockchain agnostic solutions and enables easier accessibility of multiple cryptocurrencies.

"We are excited to see Payza integrate Dash so quickly using our web services and infrastructure," said BlockCypher's head of growth Karen Hsu. "Payza leads the digital payments market in providing customers with the choice to use Dash and digital currencies, which have become the fastest and most economical way of making cross-border payments for people around the world."

Customers in emerging economies are already getting benefits from cryptocurrency payment systems and underbanked populations in particular might be more likely to technologically leapfrog into digital currencies than those with an already-established network of financial services.

As such, Dash and Payza might be doing well by doing good.
