Finder asked a panel of 18 fintech specialists in October 2025 about their price predictions for Litecoin (LTC) through 2035.
Find out how much our panellists think LTC will be worth by the end of 2025, 2030 and 2035.
All prices mentioned in this report are in US dollars.
Finder Cryptocurrency Predictions Report
On average, our panellists think LTC's price will hit $159 before 2025 is out.
They also expect the price of LTC to rise to $333 by 2030 and $543 by 2035.
Sathvik Vishwanath, the CEO of Unocoin Technologies, gives the panel's most bullish prediction at $400 based on Litecoin's position as a fast, low-fee cryptocurrency suitable for payments.
Predictions are based on Litecoin's position as a fast, low-fee cryptocurrency suitable for payments, with adoption expected to grow via the MWEB privacy layer and potential exchange-traded fund (ETF) approvals. LTC's current price reflects a combination of market sentiment, network utility and anticipation of regulatory clarity. Long-term value is tied to adoption in payments and privacy-focused solutions.
Mitesh Shah, the Founder and CEO of Omnia Markets and Quaerite , is also bullish on LTC in 2025 with a prediction of $250, almost entirely dependent on the spot ETF narrative.
Without the institutional-grade access and liquidity that a spot ETF provides, its price is likely to continue underperforming market leaders. The price forecast assumes a successful ETF conversion by mid-2026, which would unlock a new wave of capital and re-establish Litecoin's relevance in institutional portfolios.
John Hawkins, Head of the Canberra School of Government at the University of Canberra, provides the panel's lowest prediction at $60, saying that LTC is no longer even a second-tier crypto.
It is close to dropping out of the 'top 20,' being overtaken by little-known tokens such as stellar, sui avalanche and hedera and now valued much less than solana or even cardano, so it is no longer in that 'second tier' of crypto below bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH). It has failed to establish any significant use case.
Around two-fifths of the panel (41%) say it's time to sell LTC, with another 41% saying it's a hold. Only 18% say it's time to buy LTC.
Ruadhan O, the founder of Seasonal Tokens, says that LTC is a buy as a "spot ETF for Litecoin would allow institutions to diversify away from Bitcoin without introducing a dependence on a smart-contract ecosystem."
A spot ETF for Litecoin would allow institutions to diversify away from Bitcoin without introducing a dependence on a smart-contract ecosystem. A positive decision by the SEC could have a significant effect on investor confidence. The price just dropped from $126 to $92, leaving plenty of room for a rebound before the end of the year.
Daniel Keller, the CEO of InFlux Technologies, says it's a hold, again based on the chances of a spot-ETF.
The SEC's anticipated approval of an LTC spot-ETF will bring in massive institutional inflows for a scalable Proof-of-Work ecosystem. Additionally, LTC's full supply is almost unlocked, meaning there are no further new token unlocks to dilute its value.
Johnny Gabriele, founder of Daedalus, is in the sell camp saying that "after the attack, I am very bearish on LTC."
Around two-fifths of the panel (39%) say LTC is overpriced, with a third 33% saying it's fairly priced.
Desmond Marshall, the managing director of Rouge International & Rouge Ventures, is in the overpriced camp, saying that "tech updates do little to help with people's trust."
LTC made a big jump before the Oct 13 week crash. It is recovering somewhat adequately, but again, its tech updates do little to help with people's trust.
Ben Ritchie, managing director of Alpha Node Global, says that LTC is fairly priced, but just like many panel members, says an ETF is fundamental to its growth.
Our Litecoin outlook reflects its status as a reliable, long-standing peer-to-peer payment network. We see moderate upside, assuming steady transactional use and possible spot ETF adoption. However, growth may be limited as investor focus shifts from pure payment coins to multi-purpose platforms.
Kadan Stadelmann, CTO of Komodo Platform, says it's underpriced but that its price is heavily pegged to BTC.
Litecoin tends to follow Bitcoin's broader market cycles but with less speculative froth, which makes its price action relatively predictable. My outlook is based on historical halving patterns, liquidity flows and its consistent role as a 'digital silver' asset. While it doesn't have the same narrative momentum as newer chains, its stability and correlation to BTC make its price movements easier to model.
Almost a quarter of the panel (73%) see the SEC's upcoming decision on spot LTC ETFs as key to LTC's adoption.
