- The free online trades plus a share trading research package can help you when you start trading

How does nabtrade work?
nabtrade allows you to manage your share trading activities through your mobile device or via the nabtrade website. You can trade as an individual, as part of a joint account, on behalf of a company or organisation or on behalf of a trust, which includes Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs). You then trade using your trading account from money in your Cash account, both of which are linked.
NAB also lets you set up and link a high interest savings account which enables you to automatically transfer funds to your cash account. Using the platform you can research stocks, track market movements and buy and sell shares. If you elect to, dividends can be paid directly into your cash account.
When you sign up to nabtrade you will receive three months complimentary access to a Silver service level account. This account lets you track live data, access market depth and standard charting, as well ten free Alert Credits per month. After three months you can continue a certain level of trading with the Bronze service level, or you can pay $9.95 a month to receive Gold level access. There are also Platinum and Platinum +IRESS service levels which have higher monthly fees but increased access to data and tracking.
The tiered service levels offered by nabtrade means that you only pay for what you use, so if you trade minimally you may be entitled to trade at the Bronze level which has no charge.
