Optus iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max plans and deals

Optus is giving away up to $1,500 in trade-in credit for eligible phones. This will be issued as a prepaid Mastercard gift card.

For example, if your iPhone 15 Pro Max (1TB) is in good working condition, you could potentially get the full $1,500.

This won't knock anything off the price of your iPhone 16 directly, but you can still use the gift card for other items on your wishlist.

Just remember, you'll need to be an existing Optus customer to score the trade-in deal.

Signing up to an Optus plan will also give you access to:

  • Bonus 3 months of Amazon Prime worth $29.97
  • Optus Sport at a discounted price. You'll pay $9.99 per month instead of the usual $24.99
  • Endless data. Your speeds will be capped at 1.5Mbps once you've chewed through your data allowance
  • Data sharing across eligible linked accounts
  • Unlimited international calls and texts to 35 selected destinations (on its Medium plan and above)
  • Up to 10% in savings when you bundle 3 or more subscriptions via Optus SubHub or up to $20 every month on streaming when you sign up to the Large Choice

Vodafone iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max plans and deals

Vodafone has two separate deals running simultaneously:

  • $150 bonus trade-in credit on top of the regular trade-in credit if you stay connected for 12, 24 or 36 months.
  • $1,299 in credit when you pair any iPhone 16 with Vodafone's new $79 Promo plan (600GB of data, new customers only), and stay connected for 36 months.

You can use the $1,299 credit offer with a regular trade-in to save money on an iPhone 16 Pro or 16 Pro Max. Depending on the handset you're trading in, you could end up getting either of the models for $0.

Keep in mind that the $150 bonus trade-in credit isn't available with the $79 Promo plan.

On a Vodafone plan, you'll also get:

  • No excess charges. Your speeds will be capped at 2Mbps once you've used up your data allowance
  • 3 months of BINGE for both new and returning customers
  • Unlimited international texts on all plans
  • Unlimited international minutes to Zone 1 countries and 300 minutes to Zone 2 countries on the medium and large SIM-only plans
  • $5 a day roaming to use your regular SIM-only plan overseas

Telstra iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max plans and deals

Telstra's is offering $275 bonus trade-in credit. Also, 40,000 bonus Telstra Plus points (if you're not already an existing postpaid customer).

With a Telstra mobile plan, you'll get:

  • Access to the largest 4G and 5G networks in Australia
  • No excess data charges. Your speeds will be capped at 1.5Mbps once you've used up your data allowance
  • 4-month access to Spotify Premium for new subscribers and 2-month subscription to BINGE for new customers
