We surveyed 700+ Australians to find out which mobile providers stood out for value for money, customer support, features and more.

amaysim scored highly for offering great value for money and customer service compared to other providers, which nudged it straight to the top of our list. This isn't a surprise given it's long established itself by slinging affordable mobile plans to cover all sorts of data needs. You get extra value thanks to additional features such as access to the Optus 4G and 5G networks, unlimited data banking and unlimited international calls on selected plans. Overall, 92% of Aussies said they'd recommend amaysim to others.

Belong was a close second, falling just a point short to amaysim across some of the main categories including value for money, reliability and overall score. Still, 94% of Aussies would recommend it. This can be due to a few reasons such as having access to Telstra's wholesale network across 4G and 5G, being happy that Belong's plans are 100% carbon neutral and that you won't be charged extra for exceeding your monthly data allowance.

Dodo deserves a mention for coming in third thanks to high scores in the overall and value for money categories. Around 92% of people surveyed said they would recommend Dodo. The provider is known to offer some great discounts across its plans, with solid ongoing pricing too. You're also likely to benefit from its range of customer support options including live chat support.
