Vine (VINE) is a memecoin that was created as a tribute to the former short-form video platform that was bought by Twitter and then shut down in 2017.

It was launched on the Solana network via the memecoin launch platform pump.fun and promoted by original Vine co-founder Rus Yusupov.

1. How to buy Vine via a crypto exchange

Vine is available on a number of crypto exchanges including Gate.io, Bitget, OKX, KuCoin and HTX.

  1. Find an exchange. Vine was launched directly on the Solana network but can now be traded via regular crypto exchanges. You can see which exchanges let you trade Vine below.
  2. Create an account. Once you've found an exchange, you'll need to sign up for an account using your personal details and ID document.
  3. Add a payment method. After your account is verified, you'll need to set up a payment method. Many exchanges let you deposit Australian dollars directly using bank transfer or buy directly using a debit or credit card.
  4. Purchase your Vine. Depending on which platform you choose, you'll now be able to buy Vine via either an instant purchase or buy order. Simply search the exchange for Vine, select how much you want to buy and your payment method and confirm the transaction.
