Released in Q2 2020, mStable is a decentralised protocol that seeks to connect stablecoins with a number of DeFi options such as lending and swapping using a uniform operational standard. The protocol is permissionless and provides developers with an SDK (software development kit) for the creation of dapps and exchanges all while offering zero-slippage swaps. It has 3 primary functions: to serve as the core source of re-collateralisation within the platform, to facilitate various governance-related activities within the ecosystem and to incentivise liquidity providers.
