What if my Finder Reward doesn’t appear?

A missing reward usually just means it's still being confirmed. Here's how to check and what to do next.

Key takeaways

  • First, check the status of your transaction in your Finder Rewards dashboard.
  • Most delays are because the qualifying transaction hasn't been confirmed yet.
  • If an eligible reward hasn't arrived within 120 days, contact Finder Customer Care.

If a reward is missing or running late, the first stop is your Finder Rewards dashboard. Most of the time nothing has gone wrong, the qualifying transaction just hasn't been confirmed yet, and the reward is still working its way through. This page walks you through a quick self-check, explains what each dashboard status means, and makes it clear who to contact if you do need a hand so you're never left guessing.

What should I check first if my reward hasn't appeared?

Work through this checklist before you get in touch:

  1. Check the reward status in your Rewards dashboard by logging in as a Finder member.
  2. Confirm you completed the offer through the designated Finder link (and not directly with the provider) within 3 hours of clicking through and in the same session.
  3. Check the offer's confirmation period hasn't passed, and that the product is still active if that's required.
  4. If you're eligible and it still hasn't arrived within 120 days, contact Finder Customer Care using the email linked to your account, or reach out through the Finderbot chat.

What do the dashboard statuses mean?

A reward usually moves through a few stages. First it sits as pending, or awaiting sign-up or confirmation, which means your transaction is still being tracked or verified. That can take a week or two and sometimes longer, so a status parked here for a while is normal rather than a sign something has broken. Next it becomes available, or ready to claim, and you claim it straight from your dashboard. Finally it shows as claimed. If a status stays stuck for several weeks past the offer's confirmation period, that's your cue to contact Finder.

Who do I contact, Finder or the provider?

For any questions about whether a reward has been tracked, its status or issues with claiming, contact Finder. Finder runs the program and funds the reward, so we're the right people to sort it out.

For a problem with an already-issued digital Visa gift card, such as a declined payment, a balance query or activation, you'll contact our gift card partner. The card is distributed by Blackhawk Network (Australia), so Blackhawk handles those card-specific issues. Finder can still point you in the right direction if you're not sure where to start, so you won't be left going in circles. See Article 12 for card help.
