Earning a Finder Reward comes down to three things: comparing on Finder, using the designated Finder pathway to click through, and finishing the qualifying transaction. Get those right and your reward can be recorded.
One thing we want to point out to set your expectations upfront: you usually will not get an instant confirmation that your visit was tracked, and tracking can take a week or two to appear in your dashboard. That is normal, as there are a lot of moving parts behind the scenes to communicate with our partners and confirm your transaction.
Also, some rewards come with a minimum connection time – for example, the terms and conditions might state that you need to remain a customer for 3 months. Once this timing is factored in alongside tracking and processing, it can take up to 6 months for your reward to be issued. You can check the progress at any time in your Finder Member dashboard.
What do I need to do to earn a reward?
Follow the specific offer instructions. Compare on Finder, click through the designated Finder link, then complete the qualifying transaction within 3 hours of clicking through and in the same browsing session, and meet the offer conditions.
The 3-hour same-session window is the load-bearing part, so if you get distracted partway through it is safer to start again from the Finder pathway than to finish later.
It's important that you uUse the same details throughout so Finder can verify it. This means using the same email address that's registered to your Finder member account when you sign up with one of our partners. That way, we can match your emails and confirm your eligibility.
Where will I see Finder Rewards offers?
You will find offers in a few places: in your Rewards dashboard, on Finder comparison and product pages, on the Finder homepage, in the Exclusive Offers hub and in Finder communications. Availability changes as offers start and end, so an offer you saw earlier may not always be there when you go back to check it.
Does anything stop a reward from tracking?
Finder relies on tracking to record your reward, so anything that interferes with it can be a problem. Ad blockers, VPNs, private browsing and cookie restrictions can all get in the way. To give your reward the best chance of being recorded, use the designated Finder link and avoid those tools while you complete the transaction. You will not usually get an instant confirmation, so do not worry if nothing shows straight away.
