Our team of expert analysts use an objective rating system to determine our award winners.
We include all of the mobile plans in our database, which contains every phone plan we can find online that is widely available throughout Australia. We exclude business mobile plans.
We compare each plan's costs, monthly data limits and its network coverage.
We exclude any mobile plans that were made available due to Finder-only promotions.
Selection Criteria
Prepaid mobile plans must be widely available across Australia for personal use.
Plans will be rated according to mobile network access - those on a network that cover a higher percentage of Australians will be rated higher.
Plans must have been available to purchase for at least 6 months of the last financial year.
