Finder's Customer Satisfaction Awards highlight the electricity brands Aussies love and trust most, based on factors like customer service, features and benefits, ease of application, environmental sustainability and value for money.
Our awards are nationally representative as well as broken down by state for NSW, VIC, QLD and SA.
Origin Energy took the top spot in this year's electricity customer satisfaction awards. It got the highest overall score of 4.01 out of 5.
Origin Energy also achieved top scores for customer service against the competition. It received 4.08 out of 5.
Red Energy received strong support in New South Wales, scoring a solid 4.18 out of 5 for overall customer satisfaction.
Red Energy was voted the top-value electricity provider in this year's customer satisfaction awards, with a score of 3.97 out of 5.
Red Energy made it 3 out 3, with top marks for being the most trusted electricity brand in NSW, scoring 4.46 out of 5.
Origin Energy nudged Red Energy in the last awards category in NSW after getting the highest score for customer service - a cool 4.18 out of 5.
Tango Energy knocked it out of the park for overall customer satisfaction in VIC, scoring 4.18 out of 5. It did particularly well for customer service and features and benefits.
Tango Energy was voted the top-value electricity brand in this year's customer satisfaction awards, with a score of 3.89 out of 5.
Red Energy was the most trusted brand this year, with a strong score of 4.52 out of 5. 95% of Red Energy customers said it was trustworthy and reliable.
Tango Energy was given the nod by VIC residents for great customer service, giving it a score of 4.35 out of 5.
Red Energy stood out from the competition in QLD as well, getting top scores for overall customer satisfaction with a 4.27 out of 5.
Nectr gave other brands a run for their money after topping this category with a score of 4.12 out of 5.
Nectr was the most trusted brand this year in QLD, with a score of 4.46 out of 5. 91% of Nectr customers said it was trustworthy and reliable.
Red Energy notched up another win in QLD for its customer service, scoring 4.44 out of 5.
Lumo Energy took the top spot in this year's electricity customer satisfaction awards for South Australia. It got the highest overall score of 4.28 out of 5, leading the charts for customer service, ease of application and more!
Lumo Energy was also voted the top-value electricity provider in South Australia, with a score of 4.14 out of 5.
Lumo Energy was the most trusted brand this year in South Australia, with a score of 4.48 out of 5. 91% of Lumo Energy customers said it was trustworthy and reliable.
Lumo Energy made it 4 out of 4 by getting a final win for customer service, scoring a solid 4.37 out of 5.

Each year, thousands of Australians rate brands they've used as part of Finder's Customer Satisfaction Awards program. Aussies rate brands within a product category across a range of metrics, including 'value for money' and 'customer service'. Finder worked with leading data, insights and consulting company, Dynata to survey customers and collect their responses.
