Howdy, my wife and I have a Voda NBN and mobile (2 numbers) bundle. We don’t seem to use anywhere near the data allowance on the mobiles, but are told it’s included. Two questions please: 1) Do you have a comparison including Voda plans; and 2) does bundling deliver better value? Thank you. Bernardos
Hi Bernardos,
Yes, bundling often offers great value with Vodafone, as they’ll offer discounts based on how many different services you have. If you wish to stay with Vodafone, your best bet is to contact them and ask if you’re on the best possible plan and if they can do any better deals. Or, if you’re open to switching, you may want to compare against other providers. Right now, we have many Finder Rewards with NBN and phone plans, so you could even score Visa gift cards when you switch! Hope this helps.
how may i pay for internet at post office with paper billing
Hi William,
You will need to take the physical paper bill containing the barcode and the Post Billpay logo to any Australia Post outlet. Note that many payments are processed immediately, but you should allow up to 3 business days for the payment to be received by your internet provider. Hope this helps!
Hi.
I am interested in your ISP, but I am not sure which one I should take. I and my wife are pensioners living in a 145 m2 apartment. We mainly use it to watch YouTube, browsing and emails.
The building itself is relative new (1 1/2 years old) and according to the manager there is a NBN connection box on the ground floor.
Please advise which NBN plan is suitable for us. Thank you.
Hi Benny,
We’re not able to give personal advice, but you can make a decision on the best tier of plan based on your viewing habits. This guide can help you make that decision: based on what you’ve described, between 25 and 50 seems like the right fit (depending on how often you stream YouTube videos). Once you decide the speed you want (eg NBN 50), you can compare plans of that speed to find a price you’re happy with. Hope this helps and best of luck!
Kindly suggest 4-5 service providers for Tarneit area for TV + 3-4 computers. Thank you.
Hi SL, you can check out our list of popular internet providers here: https://www.finder.com.au/broadband-plans/providers. Their NBN 100 or NBN 500 plan should suit you — which one you get will depend on your connection type, but the price is the same either way. It’s just that some NBN connection types don’t support speeds faster than NBN 100. Hope this helps!
Can I keep my optusnet address if I change provider.
Hi David,
Generally, you can keep your optusnet.com.au email address when changing internet providers, but you must maintain an eligible, active Optus service (such as a mobile plan) to avoid losing it. If you cancel all Optus services, you will likely lose access to your email address.
