Sign up with Catch Connect via Finder and score 60GB for just $89 on its 365-day prepaid mobile plan.

At a time when pretty much everything is costing more, Catch Connect's latest offer will help you save on your mobile plan over the next year.

Catch's Finder exclusive deal will knock off $31 on its 60GB 365 day plan, making it the equivalent of 5GB for just under $7.50 a month.

If you were to sign up with Catch's 365-day mobile plan you'll get:

  • 60GB of data for $89
  • Unlimited national standard calls and texts
  • Access to the Optus 4G network
  • Keep in mind that this plan lasts for 365 days so you'll need to stagger out your mobile usage to make sure you don't use up 60GB before your expiry period.

The price reverts to $120 per recharge after your first 365-days on the plan, but there's no lock-in contract so you're free to switch once your plan is done.

How does this Catch Connect 365-day deal compare?

If you're comparing purely on price for long expiry plans, Catch's mobile deal is up there. In fact, it's the cheapest long expiry plan on Finder offering 60GB right now.

Even comparing it against a regular monthly mobile plan, Catch comes out flying. The average 5GB mobile plan on Finder costs $19.83 a month.

With Catch's exclusive long expiry offer, you're saving almost $150 over a year compared to being on a regular month-to-month plan.

On the downside though, Catch is pretty lean when it comes to plan features, with other providers offering additional benefits such as 10% off your Woolies shop, data rollover and more.

But if you're after a simple mobile plan to get you through the next year, Catch is definitely one to consider.

Is there a Catch to this deal?

Beside's an easy pun, there isn't much of a Catch to this deal.

The main thing to consider is the data limit. 60GB to use over a year will suit a light mobile user, but may not be suitable for everyone.

According to the ACCC, the average Australian uses 10.2GB of data a month. With this deal, you'd be using half this amount each month.

While it's still a great way to save on your mobile bill, make sure the data limit suits your needs because if you run out before the end of the 365-day expiry period, your next recharge will cost you the original $120 instead of the discounted $89.
