How we picked our 2025 Finder Superannuation Awards

Our team of expert analysts use an objective rating system to determine our super fund award winners. We excluded closed or private funds, and funds which are only offered through specific employers.

We looked at performance over 1, 5 and 10 year periods and overall fees on a balance of $50,000.

    I don’t have much super as i used it to pay into my Mortgage. Not sure who to go with to start over and which type of investment to choose?

      You can take a look at some of the different super funds and their investment options here: https://www.finder.com.au/super-funds

      We’d suggest speaking with a financial advisor for personal advice and recommendations on specific funds, as well as which investment option to choose. This will depend on a range of factors such as your age and risk tollerance.

      In general, it’s best to look for a fund with low fees and strong, long-term returns.
