Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max have finally kicked off, with trade-in offers, gift cards and phone plan discounts up for grabs.
Here's a quick rundown of the offers on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max before we go into more detail on the phone plans from Optus, Vodafone and Telstra.

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max pre-order deals from Optus
You can get a $300 digital Visa gift card when you sign up to any Optus iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max plan through Finder, using the tables below.
Optus also has a few offers when you sign up for its 12-, 24- or 36-month phone repayment plans.
- It has introduced a Launch Plus Promo SIM-only Plan just for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. You'll pay $59 a month for the first 12 months, then $79 a month ongoing for 360GB.
- The plan also includes free Upgrade and Protect, worth $15 a month, for the duration of your phone repayments.
- You'll also get up to $10 a month in Optus SubHub credit for the first year to put towards your favourite streaming subscriptions, such as Netflix.
- Lastly, you can get a Mastercard gift card worth up to $1,500 when you trade in an eligible device by 31 October. This includes a higher trade-in amount for certain devices. For example, you could get up to $1,500 when trading in your iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB model.

Vodafone is giving $200 in bonus trade-in credit when you pre-order the iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max on a 12-, 24- or 36-month phone repayment plan.
This offer is available until 15 October.
Its SIM-only plans are also discounted for the first year.
- Small: 65GB for $45 a month for the first 12 months, then $58 a month ongoing.
- Medium: 220GB for $50 a month for the first 12 months, then $68 a month ongoing.
- Large: 420GB for $55 a month for the first 12 months, then $78 a month ongoing.
If you pair your phone repayments over 24 or 36 months with Vodafone's Medium or Large plans, you'll get Free Upgrade and Protect Plus included, worth $9.99 a month.
iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max pre-order deals from Telstra
Telstra is giving $300 bonus trade-in credit when you pre-order the iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max on a 12-, 24- or 36-month phone repayment plan.
It will also match a higher trade-in value found elsewhere.
Both offers are available until 9 October.
Similar to the other telcos, you'll need to pair your phone repayment plan with one of Telstra's SIM-only plans.
Right now, its Essential and Premium plans are discounted for the first 12 months.
- Basic: 50GB for $74 a month.
- Essential: 180GB for $74 a month for the first 12 months, then $84 a month ongoing.
- Premium: 300GB for $84 a month for the first 12 months, then $99 a month ongoing.
