AGL discounts: Save up to $500 on energy deals and get free Netflix
If your energy bill went up on 1 July or you're just after a good deal, AGL's latest round of offers could soften the blow.
Between bill credits, a Finder Reward, free Netflix and bundling discounts on internet and mobile, there are hundreds of dollars in bonus value up for grabs.
How to get up to $500 off with AGL's energy deals
New and moving customers in NSW, VIC, SA and South East QLD who join AGL online can get up to $300 in bill credit.
- That's $150 for electricity and $150 for gas if you're in NSW, VIC or South Australia.
- Or $200 for electricity and $100 for gas if you're in South East QLD.
You'll need to stay connected for 90 days, and the credit will be applied to your next bill after that.
Then there's the Finder Reward.
When you sign up to an eligible AGL plan through Finder by 31 July 2026, you'll get a $150 digital Visa gift card for electricity and $50 for gas, up to $200 in total.
How do I get free Netflix with my AGL energy plan?
AGL's Netflix Electricity Plan includes Netflix Standard with ads, which is $120 of Netflix value every year for as long as you stay on the plan.
If you'd rather go ad-free, you can upgrade to Netflix Standard or Premium.
The additional cost will appear as a separate charge on your electricity bill.
AGL's energy, mobile and internet bundling discounts
When you bundle your internet and energy plans with AGL, you can save $15 a month on your NBN plan as long as both services are connected.
You can also bundle mobile and save $10 a month.

Are AGL's energy deals worth it?
The bill credit and Finder Reward can make this offer pretty tempting, but it's worth comparing AGL's usage rates and daily supply charge with what you're paying now (check your latest energy bill).
If AGL's rates are much higher, those upfront savings could be wiped out by higher energy bills over time.
On the other hand, if AGL's rates are similar to or cheaper than your current plan, the bill credit and Finder Reward can make switching a much better deal.
