1. No annual fee

If you're looking for a credit card that you can use to shop up a storm, the last thing you want is to have an expensive annual fee to pay before you even step foot in a store.

You could opt for a credit card with no annual fee, but then you're also missing out on the extra perks and benefits that often come with a fee.

For the best of both worlds, new applicants can get the David Jones Premiere credit card and the David Jones Prestige credit card with no annual fee for the first 12 months¹. That means you can get all the perks these cards offer (more on this below!) with no annual fee to pay for a full year.

All you need to do is be approved for one of the cards by 13 July 2025 and spend within the first 90 days of approval¹. The annual fee ($99 for the Premiere Credit card or $295 for the Prestige Credit Card) will instead be charged to your account 12 months after your initial approval.

2. The ability to earn points

Some of the most popular points programs you can get with a credit card include Qantas Frequent Flyer points and Velocity Frequent Flyer points. But if you love a bit of retail therapy, you might prefer points that can be earned and redeemed at some of your most-visited stores.

The David Jones Premiere credit card allows you to earn 2 points per $1 spent at David Jones, 3 points per $1 spent at participating supermarkets and petrol stations, and 1 point per $1 spent on all other eligible purchases².

The David Jones Prestige credit card offers 4 points per $1 spent at David Jones, 3 points per $1 spent at participating supermarkets and petrol stations, and 1 point per $1 spent on all other eligible purchases².

The points you earn can be redeemed for gift cards³ which are available via the David Jones Points Hub. These include digital gift cards, the option to use points for an amount of credit towards a future purchase or the option to pay with your points at David Jones. You can also transfer your points over into another
loyalty program in your name.

3. Exclusive access to events

Points aren't the only benefit offered with a credit card. Depending on the card you choose, you can get other perks too.

For example a David Jones credit card gives you exclusive access to member-only special events and previews⁴. These could be in-store VIP shopping events, new season fashion shows and designer previews as well as art and design events.

4. Travel benefits
