Looking for a new mobile or NBN plan? Finder is giving eligible customers up to $180 back when they sign up to a selected Optus Postpaid Mobile Plan with a handset or a home internet plan (NBN 50 and up) via our site.

What's the offer?

Eligible customers can receive a digital Visa gift card valued at $180 when they purchase a participating Optus postpaid mobile handset + SIM plan, or $60 when they purchase an eligible Optus NBN (50Mbps+) plan through Finder.

Who is eligible for the reward?

To qualify, you must:

  • Be a Finder member (or sign up for a free Finder account)
  • Be an Australian resident aged 18 or older
  • Click through to Optus via the promotional link on Finder
  • Be a new Optus customer (no mobile or NBN service in the last 30 days)
  • Purchase an eligible Optus mobile or NBN plan
  • Activate your SIM within 28 days (for mobile plans)
  • Keep your service active for at least 90 days
  • Pay by direct debit and keep your account in good standing
  • Use the same name and email address on both your Finder and Optus accounts

What are the key dates for this promotion?

  • Promotion starts: 12:01pm AEST, 3 July 2025
  • Promotion ends: 11:59pm AEST, 31 July 2025
  • Eligible purchase period: You must sign up via Finder during this window
  • Reward delivery: Up to 120 days after your eligibility is confirmed

How will I know if the offer has ended?

The offer is available until 31 July 2025 unless withdrawn earlier. If you're unsure whether the offer is still running, check the Finder deal page or contact us before signing up.

Can I also claim Optus's own offer?

Yes. The Finder reward is separate from any sign-up deals offered directly by Optus. If eligible, you can receive both rewards.

What products are eligible for the reward?

To be eligible, you must sign up to one of the following products via Finder:

  • Optus Postpaid Mobile - Handset + SIM Plans
  • Optus NBN - 50Mbps or higher

SIM Only plans are not eligible.

A product I want isn't listed on Finder – can I still get the reward?

No, to be eligible for the reward, you must purchase one of the specific products listed on Finder as part of this promotion. If the product doesn't have a promotional link from Finder's site, it won't qualify.

Not sure if your plan is eligible? Get in touch with our customer support team before you buy and we'll be happy to help.

Can I get the same reward twice if I purchase for a partner or family member?

The reward is limited to one per Finder member. However, your partner or family member may also be eligible if:

  • They create their own Finder account
  • They click through from Finder before purchasing
  • They sign up under their own name and email

What if I'm issued a new quote by Optus?

You're still eligible as long as:

  • You originally clicked through from Finder
  • You complete the transaction online (not by phone). Please note that quotes obtained by the phone are not eligible.
  • You purchase an eligible product, even if Optus issues a revised quote digitally.

What if my Finder account only has my first name?

To receive the reward, your Finder Rewards profile must include your full name (first and last) and a valid email address. If anything is missing, please get in touch with customer service to update it.

Can I upgrade or change my product after signing up?

Yes as long as:

  • You signed up via Finder during the promotion period
  • Your new product still meets the eligibility criteria (e.g. remains a qualifying plan)

How much will I get?

Reward amounts depend on the product:

ProductReward Amount
Optus Postpaid Mobile (Handset)$180
Optus NBN 50Mbps+$60

Can I claim the two separate reward amounts?

Yes you can claim both rewards if you purchase both eligible products separately. That means signing up for an Optus Postpaid Mobile Plan with a handset and an Optus NBN plan (50Mbps or higher) through Finder, each in its own transaction.

Just make sure you:

  • Click through from Finder for each purchase
  • Use the same Finder account for both transactions
  • Meet all eligibility criteria for each offer individually

Still unsure? Feel free to contact our customer support team for help before you sign up.

How do I make sure my transaction is tracked?

To ensure you're eligible for the reward:

  • Click from Finder's promotional link
  • Complete your purchase within 3 hours
  • Enable cookies and disable ad blockers
  • Avoid private browsing or switching browsers/devices mid-journey
  • Don't revisit Optus through another cashback, discount, or affiliate site
  • Use the same name and email address on both Finder and Optus

When and how will I receive my reward?

  • Delivery method: Via email as a digital Visa gift card
  • Timing: Within 120 days after your purchase is verified
  • Sent by: Our rewards partner, Blackhawk Network

We'll use the name and email in your Finder Rewards profile to deliver the gift card.

Who do I contact if I haven't received my reward?

If you haven't received your reward by 30 November 2025:

  1. Check your email spam/promotions folder
  2. Contact Finder's customer care team and include:
    • The email linked to your Finder account
    • A copy of your Optus order or policy confirmation
    • Any reference or confirmation numbers
