I need help choosing an NBN provider please
Hi Paige,
There are lots of things to consider when choosing an NBN provider, such as how many people and devices are in your household and what you use the internet for, plus what your budget is and how much you can pay each month.
You can find more info about comparing NBN providers here: https://www.finder.com.au/broadband-plans/nbn
Hope this helps.
I have a New house and want to know the connection cost for the 1st installation of NBN
Hi Peter,
It would depend on what type of new house you have as to how much you have to pay, or even if you have to pay to get the NBN installed. If it’s in a new development area, you’re likely to have to pay, but if for example you knocked down a house that already had an NBN installation and rebuilt a new one on the same site, you might not have to pay. There’s generally a $300 new development charge for the NBN, but this will be confirmed by your chosen provider when you go to get an NBN connection. You will be notified before completing your order if you have to pay the new development charge. You can find more info here: https://www.nbnco.com.au/develop-or-plan-with-the-nbn/new-developments/government-policy-for-new-developments
Hope this helps.
Can someone please help me discuss setting up a new NBN plans? Thank you
Hi Cam,
As a starting point you can compare a lot of options here: https://www.finder.com.au/broadband-plans/nbn
You’d need to go through and see what would suit you best based on what speed you require, how much you’d be able to pay and how much data you’d require as some starting points.
Hope this helps.
