South Australia: How to turn 20 days of leave into 51 of holiday time

South Australia, here’s how to maximise your holidays in 2019.

Let’s face it. Four weeks out of 51 is barely enough holiday time. We thought it was time to help get South Australians crafty with their 20 days of annual leave, and have pieced them perfectly around 2018’s public holidays to make the most out of their little time off.

It turns out you can come up with 51 days worth of long weekends and extended getaways with a little bit of planning.

Take off the following days in italics as annual leave:

January:

Tuesday 1 January (Public Holiday - New Year's Day)

Wednesday 2 January

Thursday 3 January

Friday 4 January

Saturday 5 January

Sunday 6 January

January/February

Saturday 26 January

Sunday 27 January

Monday 28 January (Public holiday - Australia Day)
