How to refer a friend to the Finder app

How does refer a friend work?

The Finder app "refer a friend" promotion lets you receive $10 in Finder Wallet credit for every friend you successfully refer to the Finder app.

You'll both receive $10 when they successfully download the app, complete the know your customer (KYC) process and activate their Finder Wallet account. There's no limit to the number of people you can refer.

How to refer a friend

In order to refer a friend, you'll need to have downloaded the Finder app and set up your Finder Wallet. You can access your referral code in 2 ways:

a) Head to the "Wallet" tab in the Finder app and tap the "Get $10" button in the top right of the screen.

b) Head to the "Settings" tab, scroll down to Rewards and Referrals and then tap "Refer friends, get $10".

You'll then have the option of copying your referral code, sharing your code link or displaying your QR referral code which your friend can scan directly from your phone.

How to use your friend's referral

You can use your friend's referral code by following these steps:

  1. Tap on your friend's referral link or scan their QR code.
  2. Follow the link and download the Finder app.
  3. Once downloaded, sign up for an account, head to the "Wallet" tab, tap "Set up your wallet" and complete the KYC process.

You can also manually enter your friend's referral code by following these steps:

  1. Download the Finder app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Sign up for an account.
  3. Enter the referral code by tapping "Rewards" in the top right corner of the Dashboard tab, or by tapping "Redeem a promo code" in the Settings tab, and entering the referral code.
  4. Head to the "Wallet" tab, tap "Set up your wallet" and complete the KYC process (if you haven't already done so).

How do I claim my $10 reward?

You will both automatically receive your $10 reward once your friend has successfully set up their Finder Wallet. Your reward will appear in your Cash balance on the "Wallet" tab.
