March 3, 2016, Sydney, Australia –, one of Australia’s biggest comparison sites is continuing rapid expansion into the telco space, following the acquisition of leading NBN tracking site,, and its incorporation into's new national NBN rollout tracker.

The service is designed to cater to the significant number of Australians choosing to live in NBN-ready areas for better digital experiences, by showing where in the local area has NBN availability, and areas with plans to implement NBN rollout in the next three years.

The newly acquired engine sits in’s telecommunications and broadband hub, which has seen a 255% visitor growth in the past three months.

Fred Schebesta, Co-founder and Director of, says the acquisition is only the beginning for the broadband arm of the site.

“Our team is buzzing about the telco space, and now we’ve opened the floodgates to the additional 320,000 monthly users from that site that we’re now assisting with making better decisions,” he says.

“Millions of Australians are going to be switching to the NBN within the next three years and we plan to be the destination in Australia that makes the decision around which provider to go with as easy as possible.

“Up until now it hasn't been easy to get information on when the NBN will be available in your area. But with our rollout maps and the ability to be notified the moment your property gets the NBN we are hoping research will be a lot easier for consumers.”

The acquired site now sits fully within the extensive collection of tech comparison services offered by Mr. Schebesta says a core focus in the coming months will be linking key offerings to genuine user needs.

“The truth is that not many people understand the telecommunications and broadband space – it’s confusing. We took the crucial information for each topic and made it super-accessible. This began with our provider comparisons, then our mobile phones analysis, and now in our dedicated NBN rollout engine.

“It’s time we make more informed decisions about our everyday tech products. It’s not hard and it could save you hundreds – if not thousands – of dollars.

Strategic growth in these niches has already been mapped out by, with Mr. Schebesta stating that next steps are already well underway.

“Ultimately, we want to answer all possible questions the user doesn’t even know they have yet,” he says.

Ken Tsang, creator and founder of, will continue to work in the team at as Publisher for Broadband and Internet TV and be heavily involved in maintaining the NBN Rollout Tracker and expanding finder's telco comparison.
