ANZ, Amex, Qantas: Finder reveals the best frequent flyer credit card right now

1. Qantas American Express Ultimate
The Qantas American Express Ultimate Card has a Finder Score of 9.9.
This card can pay for itself with a $450 year travel credit that cancels out the annual fee to the dollar. If you use it.
Aside from this, there's a very generous 90,000 bonus Qantas Points on offer for new Amex customers. You will need to hold the card for over a year to get the full bonus points.
You earn points at a very high rate of 1.25 points for every dollar you spend too.
2. Qantas Premier Titanium
The Qantas Premier Titanium has a frequent flyer Finder Score of 9.83.
This card gives you 150,000 bonus Qantas Points if you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months. It also offers 20% bonus Status Credits on flights and a high earn rate of 1.25 points per dollar.
You pay for it though, with an annual fee of $1,200 and a minimum income requirement of $200,000.
It's a very rewarding card that scores highly, but it's really aimed at customers from the top end of town.

3. ANZ Frequent Flyer Black Card
The ANZ Frequent Flyer Black has a Finder Score of 9.69 this month.
One of the consistently highest-rated offers, this card gives new ANZ customers up to 130,000 bonus Qantas Points if you spend $5,000 in the first 3 months and hold the card for over 12 months.
There's a $425 annual fee, which is pretty high, but it's partly offset by a $200 cashback. You can get a lot of value with this card thanks to the complimentary insurance, Qantas Club lounge invitations and 24-hour concierge service.
4. Virgin Australia Velocity High Flyer
The Virgin Australia Velocity High Flyer Card has a Finder Score of 9.6.
This credit card has a slightly cheaper $329 annual fee, partially offset by a $129 Virgin gift card. And if you spend $3,500 on eligible purchases for the first 2 months and hold the card for a year you can get 100,000 bonus Velocity Points.
Throw in 2 domestic lounge passes, travel insurance and the 1 point per dollar earn rate and you've got a solid offer for someone wanting to earn Velocity Points.
5. American Express Velocity Platinum Card
The American Express Velocity Platinum Card has a frequent flyer Finder Score of 9.41.
With this offer you can get 100,000 bonus Velocity Points if you meet the spend criteria, 100 bonus Status Credits, Virgin Australia lounge passes, an annual complimentary domestic flight plus travel insurance.
The annual fee is pretty high at $440, especially with the smaller bonus points offer. But if you take advantage of the lounge passes, free flight and bonus status credit you're still getting a lot of value.
